Meet Feeta J. Caphart

Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

What does wellness mean to you?

“To me, wellness means having a sense of center and balance in one's life, or striving towards having that sense, by making healthy physical, emotional, mental choices.”

What inspired you to become a nurse and midwife?

“I always loved babies! And I wanted to help take care of people. I felt called to midwifery as my way to serve.”

What do you love most about your work?

“I really like most aspects of my work, but my favorite is definitely birth. The moment a baby is born is so special every time.”

What is your self-care routine?

“This is a work in progress for me, but so far, I definitely do my best to carve out time for me to unwind through listening to podcasts and spending time with and talking to loved ones.”
